My boyfriend and I
moved to Montreal
for further studying last year. By the influence of locals’ love with the Montreal
Canadien's Hockey Team, we both have started to follow the team. We watch them
play on TV, have intense conversations and debates with friends, as well as read the news about them. Next week is going to
be my boyfriend’s birthday. He always complains about how shaggy his current bath robe is, and the fact that it is made out of thin cotton which makes him uncomfortable. So, I thought to myself that I could get him a hockey robe about the Canadiens as his birthday present?
I put the key
word “Sport Robe” into Google, and found a site called
SportRobe.com which specialized in various kinds of sport robes, obviously
including hockey robes for the Canadiens. I noticed that the products there are
all authentic and with thick, high-quality cotton. it’s a good fit for my
boyfriend’s situation, isn’t it? According to the site, the robes come with authentic twill
lettering, patches, team colors and fonts that are found on authentic hockey
jerseys.
Due to the fact that we
are living in Canada and the
site is based in the US, we knew there would be some issues with shipping. So searched around their site and found out that we could use a mail forwarding company called
Bongo International for international shipping. The concept is
that the hockey jerseys would first be shipped to my very own US Address set up by Bongo International's warehouse. All the other purchases I make in the US can be consolidated into one box and shipped to my door in Canada. It’s
pretty easy to operate and it only took 4 total days for me to receive the robe from the day of my purchase. All I needed to do was stay at home and do
a few clicks. After a few days, my boyfriend got the robe. He said it’s the
best birthday present that I had ever got.
